First comp of the year done and dusted… and WOWEEE! There’s nothing quite like that mix of relief, pride, and the instant feeling of “okay… when’s the next one?” 😏🫡

This day was full of brave and bold moments.
H I G H L I G H T S :
⭐️ Having over 60!!! dancers compete with their first ever Neverland Extend team! That is an amazing accomplishment in itself. We’re so happy to welcome all of these new dancers and families to this crazy, fun, comp world!
⭐️ Taking a risk and putting our first ever MINI and JUNIOR MEGAS on stage! A Mini Contemp with 27 dancers, and a Junior Jazz with 55 dancers! Rehearsing in these big team spaces come with a whole new collection of learning. Sooo excited with the potential in these items!
⭐️ Taking out TOP SCORING JUNUOR ITEM (Zeal - Rihannon) and RUNNER UP TOP SCORING JUNIOR ITEM (Mega Jazz - The Wedding Crashers)
⭐️ Receiving THIRD Highest Scoring Senior Item (Moxie - The Abyss)
As well as a plethora of other placings and awards, the day was made most special by the hearts of our gorgeous dancers, teachers and families. It’s always a collective push to get out 15 brand new items in one day…but we did it! 💪💪💪
A huge thank you to everyone who helped along the way - our incredibly dedicated teachers, all those who lended helping hands with props and costumes, and everyone in between!
