We get asked a lot 'what is a Blooming Tea Ball' and have heard stories of people peeling them open, un-tying the dried ball bundle or even popping one in their mouth. Thats NOT What to do!

Here's How to Brew and get the most out of your blooming tea:

Step 1. Use a clear glass teapot or cup so you can see the magic
Step 2. Heat water to boiling
Step 3. Drop in your tea ball , pour over the water and watch it bloom 🌺
Step 4. Steep for 3–5 minutes
Step 5. Sip and enjoy — you can re-steep up to 3 times!

We have been following the inspirational journey of jonoridler and itsliveocean quest to swim the length of the East Coast of the North Island, solo and unassisted, to bring an end to bottom trawling on our Shores.

Jono started his amazing feat back on the 5th Jan, entering the water at North Cape and will swim down the entire East Coast to Wellington - a journey that will take a gruelling 3 months.

The toll on the body and mental strength to do this day in and day out is absolutely phenomenal - all for the benefit of us and our future generations to enjoy our stunning oceans.

The kids were starstruck when we had a chance to meet him on his break between swims at Lang Beach. Having heroes like Jono for kids to watch, meet and aspire to is gold. What a champion!
