We know how hard it can be to get a photo with Santa for some of our clients and families, so this Christmas we are opening our centre up to get a photo with Santa in our Christmas musical grotto.

Getting ready to farewell my Connect Group Jammers & Rockstars for the final time. It has been a privilege to walk alongside tamariki, rangatahi and their whānau this past two and a half years. When I began in February 2020, no-one could have foreseen the challenge ahead! But throughout this season I’ve been confident in my calling to this beautiful work. Now I am just as confident in the call to bring it to a close, and enter new season for myself, my whanau and this business. Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou ❤️

Did you know there’s no ‘right’ way to play here at Connect? We encourage our Jammers to play their instrument creatively and try not to correct. In fact, the most hilarious ways of playing often lead to the most meaningful interactions between the Jammer and the music therapist. When a person feels heard and understood, they open up their world and let others in to see who they really are. This is the moment we live for!

Connect Music Therapy Groups start on Saturday 30th July in West Auckland and the North Shore. Tailored music therapy in small groups, perfect for learning to communicate, building social skills and making friends.
