Full-Time Health Coach – Join Our Multi-Disciplinary Team
Location: Across our Medseek Clinics

We are looking for an enthusiastic Health Coach to join our team and work across our clinics, becoming part of our wider multi-disciplinary network alongside Health Improvement Practitioners (HIPs), GPs, nurses, and other health professionals.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about supporting people to take control of their own health and wellbeing.

The Role
As a Health Coach, you will work in partnership with patients and their whānau/families to:

Help them understand and apply advice from the general practice team

Support them in making informed decisions about their health

Identify practical ways to improve their wellbeing

You will provide support in person, over the phone, and via video, as well as run group sessions and guide patients to relevant health and wellbeing services. You will also collaborate closely with HIPs and the wider team to engage patients who may be “hard to reach” and to complement clinical care with preventative health initiatives and chronic condition management.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone with:

Excellent communication skills

A motivating and positive approach

The ability to build strong connections across diverse backgrounds and cultures

An empathetic, caring, and supportive nature
