Cryotherapy via a special device called the Cryopen to treat skin tags, warts, verruca's and benign skin lesions such as errucae, milia, cherry angiomas, sun spots, liver spots, and seborrheic keratoses. with high precision.
This device uses nitrous oxide gas rather than liquid nitrogen, allowing us to treat with higher accuracy and significantly reduce the instance of damaging healthy cells and or the incidence of scarring and pigmentation change. Perfect for sensitive areas, such as face, scalp, neck, bust, armpit etc.
Key Points about this service:
Procedure & Feel: The procedure is fast (often lasting a few seconds to 2 minutes) and typically feels like a mild, stinging pressure. No anesthesia is required.
Effectiveness: It is considered a safe, low-risk procedure, though some, particularly deeper, lesions may require multiple sessions.
Aftercare: Treated areas may form a blister or scab, which usually heals within 2–6 weeks.
Side Effects: Potential side effects include minor skin irritation, blistering, and temporary or, rarely, permanent pigment changes (lighter or darker skin) in the treated area.
Cost: $50 for the 1st lesion and $15 for any subsequent lesion in the same session. Sometimes patients will need to return for a 2nd round of treatment (legion size / location and response dependent.)
We may refer you to a skin clinic or your doctor for investigation if there is suspicion a lesion is cancerous or precancerous, If this occurs you will not be charged for the service.
