Today we came together to honour and farewell the beloved Late Mr. Ram Chander Reddy. He was a man of deep faith, a pillar of strength, and someone who carried himself with dignity and resilience.

His faith was at the centre of his life, guiding his actions, his values, and the way he treated others. Through both good times and challenges, he remained strong, grounded, and unwavering, inspiring those around him with his courage and belief.

He will be remembered not only for the love and care he gave to his family and friends, but also for his kind heart, his wisdom, and his ability to bring comfort to others. His presence left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though he is no longer with us, his spirit, his teachings, and the love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

In Loving Memory of Late Mr Ram Chander Reddy

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Late Mr Ram Chander Reddy, originally from Nasau, Nadi, Fiji.

He was the loving and hardworking son of the late Ram Reddy and Nagamma Reddy, a devoted husband to Sitama Reddy, and a caring father, grandfather, and great-grandfather to his only great-grandson. He was affectionate, kind, and touched the lives of many.

A devoted Hindu, he practised and shared his faith wholeheartedly. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and brought immense joy to many through his singing and playing the harmonium in homes and communities.

His contagious smile and warm charisma will always be remembered. He leaves behind a lasting legacy as one of the founders of NZ Sangam.

He will be deeply missed and forever remain in our hearts.

Congratulations to all the winners and participants of the NZ Indian Funeral Services Tournament held at Ba Golf Club. It was fantastic to see such strong competition, sportsmanship, and community spirit across all grades.

A big vinaka vakalevu to Ba Golf Club executives and members for the appreciation and for hosting a great event. Special congratulations to all tournament winners, club champions, medal recipients, and those selected as Golf Fiji Teams Championship qualifiers, a remarkable achievement.

We would also like to acknowledge Mr Rohit Chandra for his ongoing support of the Ba Golf Club and his assistance in organising this tournament. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Mr Asish Chand, the Club Captain.

As we welcome the New Year, we pause to reflect on the year that has passed, the lives remembered, the love shared, and the strength shown by families during moments of loss. A new year is not about leaving memories behind, but about carrying them forward with dignity, gratitude, and care.

We extend our heartfelt wishes to everyone for peace, comfort, good health, and gentle moments of healing in the year ahead. Thank you for allowing us to walk beside you and your families during life’s most meaningful moments. May the New Year bring hope, unity, and reassurance to all.
