🙋‍♀.Hi there! How are you? I hope your are doing good with the people in your bubble..
☝️.These days I was checking what topics I 'd like to share with you.
💡..And it comes to mind that I would like to talk about the "properties of food".🍊🍒🍅⚖But first I think there are other concepts that I want to clarify.
🔎.For example:
❓.How to maintain a healthy diet?.
▶.There are many answers, and the truth is not just a correct answer. But something that seems important to me to convey is that a healthy diet is not just "eating" or "doing" what is called HEALTHY. It should be consistent with your culture, your customs, the time of year and your social customs. Since feeding ourselves is part of our identity.🚫It is not healthy for you to r something you love from your diet just because someone said:-emove "It is not healthy." ⚠(Considering that you do not have a pathology that justifies it).
🍽At the end of the day, what we eat is one of the many decisions we make on the day.
⏰.If you want to take care of your health, you have to make responsible decisions regarding your diet. The portion sizes, the frequency with which you eat and the time will make the difference as to how this impacts your body. On the other hand, with whom you eat, how you do it, with whom and what emotion is present will affect our mental health. 🍦🚴‍♀🏄‍♀Eating a scoop of ice cream on a hot summer afternoon with your fellows is not going to influence your weight or your health, totally the opposite, being able to share that moment is a gratifying experience.
🍨🍫🍩Unlike feeling anxious and staying home eating a pot of ice cream alone.
🤔So, What is the correct portion for me? What is the frequency? How to manage to eat by emotions?.
👉All these answers depend on your goals and the tools you have to make the change.
⁉️Did you ever eat something you don't like just because they told you it was good? or you stopped eating something you love just because "it's not healthy"? Have you ever felt like you lose control over your food?. . . . . .

.🌎Everyone should practice good hygiene when preparing and handling food. . 👩‍⚕️. has issued precautionary recommendations including advice on good hygiene practices during food handling and preparation, they include:
1️⃣. washing hands before handling food, and between handling raw and cooked foods thorough cooking and proper handling of meat products.
2️⃣. covering your mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing.
3️⃣. avoiding close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness, such as coughing and sneezing.
4️⃣. As an added precaution, if you have suspected symptoms of respiratory illness you should avoid preparing food for other people and seek medical attention. .☝️If possible, choose fruits or veggies that aren’t bruised or damaged.
☝️If you buy pre-cut items—such as bags of lettuce make sure they are either refrigerated, both in the store and at home. .🔎In addition, follow these recommendation when you have to handle food : .✅Wash your hands for 20 seconds with warm water and soap before and after preparing fresh produce.✅Rinse produce BEFORE you peel it, so dirt and bacteria aren’t transferred from the knife onto the fruit or vegetable.
✅Gently rub produce while holding under plain running water. There’s no need to use soap or a produce wash.✅Use a clean vegetable brush to scrub firm produce, such as melons and cucumbers.✅Dry it with a clean cloth or paper towel to further reduce bacteria that may be present. ✅Remove the outermost leaves of a head of lettuce or cabbage.✅Remember store perishable produce in the fridge. .. ... .

Who should self-isolate
If you arrived in New Zealand from any country in the last 14 days, you should self-isolate for 14 days from the date you departed the last country you visited. If you arrived more than 14 days ago, you do not need to self-isolate.
If you have been in close contact with someone confirmed with COVID-19, you should self-isolate for 14 days from the date of contact.
About self-isolation
Self-isolation is an effective precautionary measure to protect those around you – your family, friends, colleagues – from contracting COVID-19. It means taking simple, common-sense steps to avoid close contact with other people as much as possible, like you would with the seasonal flu virus. We know it’s a stressful time, but taking these measures will help protect you, your family and all of New Zealand from COVID-19 and other common infectious diseases.

As much as possible, you should limit your contact with people other than the family members/companions you travelled with. You should avoid having visitors to your home, but it is okay for friends, family or delivery drivers to drop off food and supplies.

If you are in a home where the others who live with you haven’t travelled or been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, you should minimise close contact with them by avoiding situations where you have face-to-face contact closer than 1 metre for more than 15 minutes. The other household residents do not need to self-isolate provided these precautions are followed.

You should not share dishes, drinking glasses, cups, eating utensils, towels, pillows or other items with other people in your home. After using these items, you should wash them thoroughly with soap and water, place them in the dishwasher for cleaning or wash them in your washing machine.

This is a broad category. It means not shaking hands, avoiding crowds, standing several feet from other people and, most important, staying home if you feel sick.

It means trying to find the least-crowded train car or possibly driving instead of taking mass transit.
"It's about taking stock, how closely you interact with people in day-to-day life. "Increase distances. Cut out handshakes. The idea is to try to empower people to break the lines of transmission."..

.
Social distancing, refers to creating physical distance between people rather than preventing social connection. On the contrary, it is more important than ever to connect with colleagues, friends and family for emotional support – even if you are physically separated from them. Fortunately, this can happen virtually.
“Isolation separates sick people with a quarantinable communicable disease from people who are not sick. Quarantine separates and restricts the movement of people who were exposed to a contagious disease to see if they become sick.
In the face of a lockdown, many people have been panic-buying – or stockpiling groceries, masks and hand-sanitizers. While this is dangerous for healthcare workers who need these items most, and unfortunate for the global good if/when it leads to shortages of certain items, it is understandable to want to reasonably prepare for an extended period at home, when illness may prevent you from going shopping.

As the number of coronavirus cases grows in N.Z., we're hearing a lot about how social distancing, self-monitoring and even quarantine play into containment efforts.
But what do those terms mean, and when do they apply?
We asked experts and found out there is some overlap and lots of confusion.
Here's a quick guide for what you need to know.
