The outbreak is still ongoing, and Health New Zealand is focused on stamping out further spread. An outbreak can only be declared over after 42 days with no new cases - so we’re not there yet.
⚠️ More cases are expected, and New Zealand remains at high risk.
We’ll keep sharing updates as new information becomes available.
What you can do:
✅ Immunisation is your best protection. Two doses of the MMR vaccine protect ~99% of people.
✅ Check your immunisation status with your healthcare provider.
✅ Get vaccinated at clinics, GPs, or participating pharmacies - many offer walk-ins. Find your closest pharmacy giving MMR on healthpoint.co.nz
✅ Stay home if you're unwell and watch for symptoms.

There are no new measles cases today. The total number of confirmed cases remains at 17, and all are no longer infectious.

✨Roscommon Road Medical Centre Opening Highlights✨

It is important for our people to have as much access to healthcare as possible so as a 'can do' organisation it is a great opportunity for us here at Pasefika Family Health Group to provide critical services through our new clinic at the Clendon Shopping Centre on Roscommon Road.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank the Minister of Health Hon. Simeon Brown MP for opening up our new clinic and Rev. Elder Talia Tapaleao for blessing the day.

This clinic will be a major help for our communities to access vital healthcare where so many clinics are feeling the strain.

We would also like to acknowledge all of those who attended the opening and shared in the celebration of our new clinic.

We are proud to announce the Grand Opening of Roscommon Road Medical Centre under the Pasefika Family Health Group umbrella!
Today we celebrated this milestone with a special Ribbon Cutting Ceremony by Hon. Simeon Brown, Minister of Health, followed by a tour of our brand-new clinic. A new chapter begins as we officially open our doors to serve the Clendon community with care, compassion, and commitment.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us in making this special celebration one to remember!
