Position: Mussel Barge Skipper Area: Coromandel

About Us:
We are a dedicated family-owned business specializing in mussel farming and sustainable aquaculture. We provide quality seafood whilst maintaining high environmental and operational standards.
We are currently looking for a hard-working, reliable and experienced Mussel Barge Skipper.
Job Description:
Safely operate, navigate and manage our mussel barge to support mussel farming operations.
Plan and coordinate marine farm activities, including seeding, harvesting, processing, maintenance, schedules, timetables and budgets.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in marine operations, preferably in mussel farming or aquaculture.
Strong knowledge of marine safety regulations and vessel maintenance. Ability to work in all weather conditions. Must have a strong work ethic with good communication and teamwork skills and an ability to troubleshoot and resolve any operational, mechanical and staffing issues.
