Family moments really matter – and being able to be there together means everything. With one of wheelchair accessible vans, a recent customer was able to drive her Mum to a recent family event – with the dog happily tagging along as co-pilot! The smile says everything.
We love seeing how our short-term hires help make these moments happen – the gatherings, the milestones, the occasions that really count!

1. Stay in touch with friends and family
2. Stay active: fresh air and sunshine can work wonders
3. Keep a backpack handy with essentials like medication, phone and notebook.
4. Grabbers or reach tools can make daily tasks easier

Ever dreamed of being part of a world record? Now's your chance! Permobil New Zealand, I Lead, YES Disability Resource Centre, and Eden Park are teaming up to make it happen. Let's roll, NZ!

HELP US BEAT THE WORLD RECORD FOR THE LONGEST MOVING LINE OF WHEELCHAIRS!
I.Lead and YES Disability, in collaboration with Permobil and Eden Park, will be hosting a World Record Attempt on December 3rd at Eden Park to beat the record for the Longest Moving Line of Wheelchairs.
The current record is held by India, with a continuous line of 400 moving wheelchairs. We think we can beat it! So what do we need to do? This event will aim to bring 600 wheelchairs to Eden Park, where we will create the longest ever line of moving wheelchairs!
Not a wheelchair user but still want to participate? No problem! We will have extra wheelchairs handy!
Deliberately aligned with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, this event will celebrate resilience, solidarity, and the strength of community.

When: December 3rd, 10am-2pm
Where: Eden Park, 42 Reimers Avenue, Kingsland, Auckland
$5 entry fee. Support people enter free.

Thanks Ability Adventures for the fantastic footage of Waitomo Caves- wheelchair accessible Ruakuri Cave. We've had great feedback from some of our past travellers too - "This is the only wheelchair accessible cave in the Southern Hemisphere so such it is always quite busy. We had to ring them before to book. Although some of the paths are quite steep (combined with semi-dark), I managed to get everywhere the able bodied people could.” - Jasmine.
