It’s been so lovely meeting so many beautiful cats over the past few weeks—and seeing the wonderful photos you shared while farewelling Mark.
I thought it was time to introduce my own furry family member. Meet Inky! She got her name because she’s black and was a tiny wee thing (‘dinky’) when we adopted her. Inky came into our lives as a foster kitten during the very first lockdown in 2020, and she has a number of siblings who now live with other staff in the Vet Hospital group!
At home, Inky is a total sweetheart. She loves cuddles, electric blankets, and her hairless siblings (aka the kids). She’s not a fan of rain, off-brand food, or the dog! And she definitely doesn’t enjoy coming to work with me—so when she needs a check-up, she gets a little pre-travel pregabalin to help her stay calm.
If your cat is the same, let us know—we’re always happy to make a tailored plan to make their visits as stress-free as possible.
