Settling back into the rhythm of day to day life after going off line for a week has been so interesting and inspiring. Feeling my body settling, my nervous system calm and my mind relaxed. No urgency, no pressure.
In Europe there is a huge awakening for people to go offline. There are offline clubs springing up everywhere, people getting together in parks, reading, knitting, playing games. I saw a group of young girls yesterday in browns bay lying on the grass playing scrabble and it brought me so much JOY.
Let’s all try to spend less time on devices and more time connecting with each other and taping into our creative side. Change our digital habits for mental, emotional and physical wellbeing.
One of the key things we can do for our health is to delay screen time in the mornings. First hydrate, move, breath, meditate, nourish and then when you body mind and soul are fully awake reach for the screen.
