What a fantastic weekend at the Auckland Boat Show. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by and said hello.

It was wonderful to see so many families and young sailors engaging with our safety demonstrations. Watching the next generation of boaties enthusiastically trying on lifejackets and learning how to spot potential dangers on the water was a genuine highlight.

Fostering Safety and Fun
Seeing families actively involved in learning about boating safety reinforces its importance for everyone on board. It is this passion and commitment that keeps our community strong and our waters safe.

We have officially welcomed the first day of Autumn, and while the sun is still shining and the water remains inviting, we want to ensure you return home safely after every trip. Please remember a few key safety tips before you head out:

Check the marine weather forecast before you launch.
Ensure everyone on board has a lifejacket that fits them correctly.
Carry two forms of waterproof communication.
Let someone on land know where you are going and when you expect to return.
We are here to help keep you safe on the water, but preparation is your best defence against the unexpected.

Enjoy the stunning conditions and have a fantastic time out there.
