Kia ora,

To change any of your referees, you must log-in to your profile before the closing date to edit your references.

If you are re-applying, ACE will automatically reuse your previous referee reports. You can only request the deletion of a reference if it was not completed by a referee who supervised your final placement. The new referee must have supervised you during your transition to practice (final) placement.

If you have any questions, please visit the ACE RN website, or email ACE.RN@tewhatuora.govt.nz or contact ACE on 0800 223 236.

Kia ora,

Applicants are required to provide two references as part of their ACE application. One referee must be a Clinical Tutor from their nursing school or tertiary provider and the other must be a Preceptor employed by the organisation where the applicant completed their final placement.

The exception to this is applicants from nursing schools who are starting their final placement late in accordance to ACE timelines. These applicants may use references from the placement immediately prior to their transition placement.

If you have any questions, please visit the ACE RN website, or email ACE.RN@tewhatuora.govt.nz or contact ACE on 0800 223 236.
