Nose pads are delicate and can break easily, however they can be repaired by our optical specialists.

We have a wide range of differently sized nose pads that suit just about all brands of eyewear and different frame types. There are very few frames that we can not repair.We have silicone and plastic pads, Rayban style fit ......

PRECISION LASER WELDER
We have laser welders - the type used by high end jewellers,we can make precision repairs to broken nosepad arms.

EXRTREME CLEAN!!
However careful you are when cleaning your glasses, the areas around your nose pads are notorious for the build up of unhealthy grime and grease. We completely remove all that gunk by using an ultrasonic cleaner. The vibration generated by the ultrasonic wave causes the cleaning liquid to oscillate. Micro-bubbles in the liquid keep vibrating and destroy and separate the dirt particles on your glasses leaving them crystal clear.

NOSE PAD COMFORT!
We can also make careful adjustments to your nose pads so that they fit properly and comfortably to your face.

SIMPLE REPAIRS
Most simple breaks can be fixed while you wait in 20-25 mins for around $40! We are based in Mt Roskill Auckland and there is no need to make an appointment.
If something dreadful happens to your glasses or sunglasses come on by.

Hi Everyone! Our workshop elves are completely refreshed and firing on all cylinders!
If you were unlucky enough to damage your glasses or sunglasses over the Christmas break, fear not - our repair specialists pride ourselves on being able to fix most breaks!

Most simple repairs can be fixed in 20-30 minutes while you wait for about $30-$50 and you don't have to make an appointment !

This saves you from having to get an expensive new pair + saves you loads of time.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

SOS EYEWEAR CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR TRADING DATES
The SOS Elves are taking a well earned break, so the workshop will be closed from 11am Monday 23nd December until Monday 6th January 2025.
BEWARE-FESTIVE GLASSES DANGER
At this time of year it's fairly usual to start relaxing. This is dangerous for anyone with glasses & sunglasses! As we relax, we can become forgetful .... so watch out & be cautious with your precious frame.! We do not want to see you on Monday 6th of January 2025! However....
SECURE LOCK BOX
If your glasses or sunglasses break during this time, we are sorry! If you are near the Mt Roskill area, do drop off the broken pair off in our secure drop box which is to the left of our workshop front door.
Instructions for using drop box:
1.Package your glasses with your contact details.
2.Post you package in the top slot
3.We will contact you with a quote before proceeding with the repair.

Attention everyone! It may not feel like it, but Summer is just around the corner… Did you know that you can easily get new lenses for an existing pair of sunglasses?

You could be preparing for a camping trip over the next few weeks… so dust off those sunnies and check they are in good condition. If you feel they could do with a freshen up, give us a call… this could add an element of safety to you trip, or just be a colour change to match your favourite outfit!

We offer a range of lens types and colours, so you can choose:

POLARISED Lenses — good for drivers

POLYCARBONATE Lenses — good for sports because they are light weight.

TRIACETATE Cellulose) Lenses — better polarization, so great for visual clarity.

COST
The cost can differ a bit depending on your type of frames & what sort of lenses you are putting in, but as a general guide prices range from $45 to around $70.

We can fix hinges on optical frames or sunglass frames.These are quick to repair and we can often do them whilst you wait.The cost is way lower than buying a new pair, so you save time and money!

*Re-Alignments*

This frame arrived with us after a young child had a fall and damaged his frame quite severely.

Our team took this time to gently coerce the acetate frame back into shape to shape. We were very glad to help this parent out.

So, if you think your frames are too far gone, dont hesitate to bring them in for a quote. Our team is always happy to assist and get your frames back together so you can see clearly again!
