On March 21, 2026, the first International Tai Chi Day celebration will be held in Auckland, New Zealand. From March 21 to March 22, a special Tai Chi competition — the “International Tai Chi Day” Tournament — will also take place.

We sincerely invite distinguished guests and members of all sectors to participate in this celebration and witness the birth and development of International Tai Chi Day.

Let us use Tai Chi as a bridge to promote mutual learning among civilizations.

United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization has designated March 21 each year as International Tai Chi Day. This is the first International Day within the United Nations system to be named after a martial arts discipline. It marks the global recognition of the important value of Tai Chi and represents a vivid practice of the Global Civilization Initiative.

“Wushu Heroes Junior”International Ranking Trial Competition Kicks Off in Nepal!
The New Zealand Wushu Development Trust is thrilled to announce the launch of the Wushu Heroes Ranking Trial Competition, officially underway in Nepal!
This landmark trial brings together young athletes from around the globe, inviting them to compete in a dynamic and inclusive environment. With formats spanning both Taolu and Sanda, the competition offers an exciting platform for performers aged 6–18 to showcase their skill, dedication, and passion for Wushu.
We warmly encourage more youth from various countries to join the journey—whether you’re just starting out or already on the path to greatness, there’s a place for you on this stage. Let’s grow together, train together, and raise the future of Wushu, one hero at a time.
