LET YOURSELF REST

If you’re exhausted, rest.

If you don’t feel like starting a new project, don’t.

If you don’t feel the urge to make something new,
just rest in the beauty of the old, the familiar, the known.

If you don’t feel like talking, stay silent.

If you’re fed up with the news, turn it off.

If you want to postpone something until tomorrow, do it.

If you want to do nothing, let yourself do nothing today.

Feel the fullness of the emptiness, the vastness of the silence, the sheer life in your unproductive moments.

Time does not always need to be filled.

Our Story

Kia Ora, I am Rebecca Low, owner of Island Massage on Waiheke Island, NZ. Health & Wellness has always been my passion, especially Bodywork. I am a certified Massage Therapist, and love giving treatments and working with clients to make a difference in their lives. My skills are primarily in Relaxation Massage, creating a space where people can drop and relax and let stress melt away. The treatments I offer are suitable for reducing muscle pain, deep relaxation and de-stressing, recovering from shocks and traumas, or simply a nurturing Treat.

I am happy to be now offering the beautiful facial treatment called Facial Radiance. This treatment is immediately tranquilising to the mind and body, allowing a deep state of relaxation. Facial Radiance is directed at the meridians pathways in the face and head, and the facial muscles - with astounding benefits for the face and your whole system. I am a qualified Reiki practitioner and can use this Japanese system of healing to bring another dimension to the session. I completed a Naturopathic Diploma in 2004, which gave me many tools for assessing and addressing health imbalances. Taking a holistic approach to my work means clients receive optimal care and treatments are always tailored to the individual.

Promoting ease in the body and peace in the mind is my aim. I work from my home studio and also offer mobile massages, and duo massages with other practitioners for couples, and groups.
