Recently, Asian Family Services had their Independent Launch after being a service delivery arm of the Problem Gambling Foundation. Dr Carlos Lam attended this launch as a representative of ACMA on the kind invitation of CEO, Kelly Feng MNZM. There were several cultural performances amongst all the various speeches and a good time was had by all who attended to celebrate this momentous occasion. ACMA will endeavour to collaborate more with AFS in the future via various projects and talks to help our reduce our shocking rates of suicides amongst our Asian people and reduce gambling harm.

Hello Everyone
On May 27th, ACMA members gathered a team of doctors, pharmacists and friends, collectively named as 'THE COVID BUSTERS", and partook other quiz teams at the "UPSIDE DOWNS Charity Pub Quiz" at Browne Street Gastropub, Avondale.

This was in support of raising funds towards Speech Therapy for Children with Down Syndrome.

We battled sixteen other teams in categories as diverse as music, geography, film, politics, and felt chuffed to end up as fifth best team on the night!

P.S. We even scored a perfect 10/10 points for the politics section and everyone had a great time!
