Our 6-week Women’s Strengthening Class, is starting again at JB Gym

These classes are designed especially for peri- and post-menopausal women, focusing on building strength, supporting bone health, improving balance.
Helping you to feel confident exercising in a supportive environment.

📅 Class start dates:
• Wednesday & Thursday classes: start this week
• Tuesday class: starts next week

$120 for 6 weeks

Small group classes with individual guidance from a physio.

𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐔𝐩𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 – 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞

Starting 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟗 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲, the next stage of the carpark upgrade will begin.

During this time, a large section of the carpark will be unavailable to the public, and one entrance/exit will be closed.

Please refer to the attached image for details.

We expect this stage of work to take approximately one week, and we’ll keep the public updated on any changes.

A physio assessment prior to commencing is available if you’d like extra confidence or individual guidance before starting.

So fun catching up with the Invercargill crew today, and challenging the brain 🧠

We were lucky to have Dr Steve White from AUT join us for a deep dive into diagnostic accuracy and clinical reasoning. A really valuable day of learning and reflection, with some great conversations about how we can continue to lift our practice.

We’re always looking for ways to refine how we think and practice, to stay curious and challenge ourselves.

A big thank you to Steve for making the trip down and sharing his expertise.

Sitting all day? Your hip flexors are probably tighter than you think!
Try this kneeling hip flexor stretch to release tension from long hours at the desk or driving
👉 Keep your core on, tuck your pelvis slightly, and feel that gentle stretch at the front of your hip.
Your back (and hips) will thank you later!
