6 months ago, I sustained a knee injury that could have sidelined me — but instead, it became one of my greatest teachers.
I literally hobbled in and crawled my way through teaching my first power yoga class at City Fitness.
No sitting crossed legged that day!
I’ve worked through this with a holistic mix of modalities: massage, energy healing, infrared therapy, sujok, an anti-inflammatory diet, and solid nutrition to rebuild from the inside out.
Protein and smart strength training have been key — because the stronger my quads, the stronger my knee.
But the real game-changer? Physiotherapy. 🙌

Recovery is never linear. It takes patience, persistence, and belief. I’m not quite back to full strength yet — but I’m getting there. Because why stop now? I’m worth the effort. You are too.
