* Slow Healing of Wounds: If cuts, scrapes, or other skin wounds take a long time to heal, it may indicate that your body lacks sufficient zinc for repair.
* Hair Loss or Thinning: Zinc deficiency can impact hair growth and lead to thinning hair or, in more severe cases, hair loss.
* Changes in Taste or Smell: A reduced ability to taste foods or detect smells is a classic symptom of zinc deficiency, as the mineral is crucial for these senses.
