Interlocknz Trust

Our focus is ; Where Life, Disability and Community connect. There is a daily activity fee of $5 for members and $10 for non-members.

Interlocknz is a unique group in the Waipa-Waikato, creating opportunities for the disability sector and wider public to connect through crafts, woodwork, cooking, and social activities. Currently, InterlockNZ runs every Wednesday and Friday from 9.30am to 11.30am during the school term and may offer activities during the holidays as required.

What an amazing morning today at the Ross Bros Museum.
Many happy and excited members browsing around the huge venue.
What a nice finish to the Friday meet ups for Term 1.

First Friday back for Term 2 at Interlock, is on the 24th of April.

It is with sadness that we share with our team the passing of Patrick Murphy.
We send heart felt condolances to his family in Waihi, his flatmates from Grey Street and his support staff from IDEA Services .

At Interlocknz we have enjoyed his presence and feel priveleged that he chose to allow us to be a part of his life story.

If you wish to attend his funeral, please make contact with Idea Services office in Cambridge.

Come along to our art/craft morning this Friday.
We are making a decorative 'garden wand'.
By using a bamboo stake and adding some sparkle to any flower beds, gardens or potted plants.

Today we were offered a large selection of beads, in a variety of sizes and colours to create our fancy key chains, for bags, purses or phones.
Silver, gold or brass charms were added along with tassels made from an assortment of coloured wool.
Here are a few pics to browse over of the finished product.

Our members hammered nails and added some artistic touches to build a bird Feeder for our feathered friends.
