Sometimes, it's not that you don't know how you feel,
but that you've been carrying it for so long that your body has taken on the burden.
The words didn't come out,
tears have stayed in,

the overwhelm was pushed down so you could keep going for others.
Your body remembers, showing up as heaviness,
exhaustion,
tightness,
restlessness,
or feeling disconnected.
This isn't your body failing you;
It's your way of protecting yourself.
