Glen's got that handover day feeling! ✨ 🔑

He handed Nadia back her keys this week, her 6 way seat van, now fitted with a side entry hoist, hand controls, full drive-from-chair capability, and with room for all her outdoor gear.

We have loved working with you Nadia - thanks for letting us be part of your mobility journey.

Nothing beats seeing someone drive off in a van that's built to work for them! We love hand over days! 🚐

We’ll be at the Adaptive Mountain Biking Give it a go Day next Saturday, November 15th, in Rotorua!

Come and see the new Motoms we’re building – designed right here in New Zealand, by Andrew Nash, to make off-road adventure accessible for more riders.

If you’re around, drop by and say hi – we’d love to show you what we’ve been working on.

Thanks, Sharron - your kind words mean more than you know. We're so grateful to work with people like you!

Things are buzzing at Vehicle Adaptions! The first VA-built Motom prototype is underway, and we couldn't wait to show you. Working alongside Andrew Nash, the Motom's original engineer, the first stage is complete - NZ's beaches, trails, and outdoors are about to get a little more accessible!

Ta-daaa! From a pile of metal bits ➡painted pink ➡THIS! ✨

Say hello to a fully finished, custom-built driving simulator! 🚗 And yep - it plugs right into a PlayStation. 🎮

Best part? It gives our client a super fun way to do physical rehabilitation exercises in while feeling like they are behind the wheel.

We've actually got a similar setup that we take along to Show Your Ability - so if you fancy testing your own skills, make sure you head along next year to the Palmerston North, Christchurch or Dunedin shows, and come straight to us!

Big shoutout to our specialist engineering team - absolute legends at turning ideas into reality! 👏👏

Remember that mystery pile of metal bits? Well......now they've had a makeover! ✨

They are looking pretty in pink, but still just a colourful pile of pieces for now. Any fresh guesses on what this is going to be? Someone suggested a rowing-machine type idea - a really clever guess, but not quite right!

A bunch of metal bits....a mystery in the making? 🛠

We've custom built this for a client to give them a fun way to do physical rehabilitation exercises...any ideas what it might turn into?

And just for fun, can you guess what colour it's going to be? We'll give you a hint: it's going to be bright!

We loved having Caroline visit us last week - all the way from New Plymouth. She'd been searching for a team who could bring her vision to life and chose Vehicle Adaptions. She really appreciated that we took the time to really listen and find practical solutions that worked for her.

With a little help from our sister company Freedom Mobility, her van was brought down to Christchurch on one of their runs, ready for her visit to check on the progress - and see how "The Beast" (yes it already has a nickname) is coming together.

Thanks for lending a hand, Freedom Mobility, and thanks for trusting us with your vision and van Caroline - we can't wait to see you both on the road!

One of our clients and her OT came to us with a safety concern - postural issues meant she was leaning toward the driver while on the road.

Our team created a simple but effective fix: a custom-built headrest and armrest. The result? A safe, comfortable, and confident ride.

Every client is unique, and that's why we design solutions as individual as the people who use them. From the simple to the complex, we make mobility on the road possible - and comfortable.
