We specialise in modifying vehicles - but it's about more than just the vehicle. It's about what it makes possible.

In this video, Cecilia shares her journey back to the outdoors - from the beach to the mountains - thanks to a customised solution we developed with her and her occupational therapist.

Take a look at what we did to Cecilia's Ford Ranger and hear what this new freedom makes possible for her.

Today, we’re proud to hand over a specially adapted Ford Ranger to someone truly inspiring – Cecilia Dalrymple from Bulls, New Zealand.Cecilia’s new Ranger f...

As we edge closer to Christmas, we know this time of year can feel a bit heavy for some.

Here at Vehicle Adaptions, we're focusing on what we're grateful for - our hard working team who always find ways to the lighten the load, the incredible clients we get to work with every day, our amazing suppliers who go the extra mile for us, the life-changing work we get to be a part of, and celebrating all the little wins along the way.

From prototype to production - it's MoTom time!

After a year of collaboration with NZ engineer Andrew Nash, countless hours refining the prototype, and a whole lot of fun test rides....we're proud to annouce that the Vehicle Adaptions team is now producing the MoTom.

The MoTom is a three-wheel electric device built to help people continue enjoying the great NZ outdoors - with stability, power and pure fun rolled into one tidy machine.

Dr Natalie Gauld, who has MND, shares how life-changing her MoTom has been: "The MoTom has been wonderful for me, giving me lots of adventures, and a dopamine and serotonin hit from being outdoors, and enabling rides with friends and family which is so important to me. I've ridden over 5,000km in it. I take it out six days a week now"

Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by and had a chat or a go.

Glen's got that handover day feeling! ✨ 🔑

He handed Nadia back her keys this week, her 6 way seat van, now fitted with a side entry hoist, hand controls, full drive-from-chair capability, and with room for all her outdoor gear.

We have loved working with you Nadia - thanks for letting us be part of your mobility journey.

Nothing beats seeing someone drive off in a van that's built to work for them! We love hand over days! 🚐

We’ll be at the Adaptive Mountain Biking Give it a go Day next Saturday, November 15th, in Rotorua!

Come and see the new Motoms we’re building – designed right here in New Zealand, by Andrew Nash, to make off-road adventure accessible for more riders.

If you’re around, drop by and say hi – we’d love to show you what we’ve been working on.

Thanks, Sharron - your kind words mean more than you know. We're so grateful to work with people like you!

Things are buzzing at Vehicle Adaptions! The first VA-built Motom prototype is underway, and we couldn't wait to show you. Working alongside Andrew Nash, the Motom's original engineer, the first stage is complete - NZ's beaches, trails, and outdoors are about to get a little more accessible!

Ta-daaa! From a pile of metal bits ➡painted pink ➡THIS! ✨

Say hello to a fully finished, custom-built driving simulator! 🚗 And yep - it plugs right into a PlayStation. 🎮

Best part? It gives our client a super fun way to do physical rehabilitation exercises in while feeling like they are behind the wheel.

We've actually got a similar setup that we take along to Show Your Ability - so if you fancy testing your own skills, make sure you head along next year to the Palmerston North, Christchurch or Dunedin shows, and come straight to us!

Big shoutout to our specialist engineering team - absolute legends at turning ideas into reality! 👏👏
