Slow, steady, and soothing.
In this part of our Hañsa Chair Yoga class, we move through a gentle arm raise — lifting the arms with the breath, and lowering them back down with ease. It’s a simple movement that integrates breath with movement, helps release tension, improves shoulder function and pelvis through spine movement, and creates a quiet sense of flow.
These mindful, meditative moments are what make Chair Yoga so special — accessible for everyone and deeply grounding for the body and mind.
We love sharing these sessions with retirement village communities around Christchurch, and corporate chair yoga supporting clients to move and feel well.
