🌿 Why Can’t I Smell My Essential Oils Anymore?

It’s not your imagination — it’s olfactory fatigue! 👃✨

Also called nose blindness or odor habituation, this happens when your sense of smell becomes desensitised after being exposed to an aroma for a while.

Think of walking into a bakery — at first, the scent is incredible, but after a few minutes, you hardly notice it anymore. The same thing happens with essential oils!

Here’s how to reset your sense of smell:
🌬 Take a break – Step away from the aroma for 15–30 minutes to let your nose rest.
☕️ Smell something neutral – Try coffee beans, your skin, or even a lemon.
🌸 Rotate your oils – Switch up your scents throughout the day to keep things fresh.
💧 Avoid overexposure – Run your diffuser for 30–60 minutes at a time, then take a break for a few hours before turning it back on. This keeps your space pleasantly aromatic without overwhelming your senses.

💗 Valentine Self-Love Soak 💗

Because romance starts with you. Treat yourself (or someone you love) to these dreamy Floral Bath Salts — a little jar of calm, beauty, and botanical magic 🌸🛁

Recipe:
• 125g Epsom Salts
• 25g Magnesium Flakes
• 75g Himalayan Salts (pink + black)
• 1 Tbsp (15ml) Jojoba (vanilla-infused)
• 7 drops Palmarosa
• 7 drops Green Mandarin
• 3 drops Jasmine Absolute
• 3 drops Vetiver
• Dried Rose Petals
• 250ml Glass Jar

How to make:

Add salts to a 250ml glass jar.

Mix essential oils into jojoba, then pour over salts.

Gently stir to distribute the oils evenly.

Add dried rose petals.

Use a handful in a warm bath once the tub is full… and melt into relaxation. ✨
