Fika Finders: A Walk and Coffee with Friends
Last month’s outing took us to the Estuary for a relaxed walk from Bridge Street in South Brighton and back, before we finished up with a well-earned coffee at Dune Café. A lovely way to spend the day with friends!

Adventure Walkers at Orton Bradley Park
Last month’s outing took us to the hidden gem of Orton Bradley Park in Charteris Bay. We met our guide for an engaging historical talk, enjoyed the rhododendrons in bloom, stopped in at the café for lunch, and then set off on a scenic 6km walk together.

Residents celebrated the Melbourne Cup in style at the Regal, enjoying the thrill of the races from the VIP lawn area, joining in sweepstakes, and soaking up the atmosphere of this iconic day.

Hurunui Garden Festival

Residents enjoyed a wonderful day exploring the beautiful Hurunui gardens. The day included a guided walk at Flaxmere Garden, visits to Saddlewood and Coldstream, followed by stops at Toi Toi and Iron Ridge. Each garden offered its own unique charm, making for a truly memorable day surrounded by stunning landscapes.

Residents attended an eerie Halloween evening for a Monster Mansion Murder Mystery. Dressed in character, they enjoyed the spooky atmosphere and tried to unravel which “monster” among them was the villain.

Northbound Nature Retreat

Our Travel Clubbers recently enjoyed a week immersed in nature. They walked the Kaikoura Peninsula Walkway, took to the skies for whale watching, and relaxed on the shores of the sounds at the recently renovated Portage Resort, making it a truly memorable getaway.

Recently, we visited the beautiful Ouruhia garden of Tammy & Michael Wells. We enjoyedbexploring the garden, followed by a picnic lunch in a peaceful, shaded spot. A lovely day spent relaxing and enjoying the outdoors!

Ladies Who Lunch ☕

The Banbury ladies boarded the bus and set off to Hello Sunday in Sydenham for a lovely lunch in the beautiful old post office building. It was a delightful outing filled with good food, laughter, and wonderful company.
