H²Go Pt 6!

We found the limit 😂
We love testing our filters in the wild… but today’s experiment definitely failed 😅🌊

For Thirsty Thursday, we tried running seawater through the Adventure Filter, aaaand it was a hard nope

H²Go + Adventure Filter... perfect at removing contaminants, and bacteria etc... Perfect for making river water/lakes safe to drink!

But removing salt is a whole different science project. 🫠

Desalination needs huge pressure systems, specialised membranes, and equipment you definitely can’t carry in your backpack. Salt molecules are teeny tiny and clingy, way harder to separate than anything you’d find in a stream.

So while the Adventure Filter is perfect for hiking, travelling, camping and dodgy tap water… the ocean is one level we can’t conquer (yet 😆).

Ah well, we tried and at least we learned something today 💙✨

Wow, cant believe weve spent 7 months in Thailand 💭

The original plan was to hop around, a few months here and there, chasing new experiences and seeing where life took us.

But we have ended up falling in love with the ease of Samui Life 🌴

Running Hydrate from here has been its own kind of adventure, figuring things out from the island, staying connected to NZ, and continuing our mission to make water filtration simple, stylish and highly effective 👌

Because no matter where we are in the world, wellness still starts with the basics - slowing down, staying hydrated, and living with intention.

Here’s to 7 months of learning, growing, and finding balance, one sip, one sunset, one day at a time 💧🌴
