Absolutely makes us think❤️

"We're all just walking each other home." ~Ram Dass
Isn't it so easy to feel disconnected from people we perceive to be different from us or people who we dislike because they bring out the worst in us?
This quote is a good reminder for us to see their behaviour from a different vantage point; we all are on the same journey. We all just want to feel loved, supported and free to be who we really are. We all are fighting a hard battle.
The key is to focus on how alike we are to one another rather than being right about the idea that we are so different.
And then when we connect deeply with another human soul, recognizing in them yet another kindred spirit on our life journey, we will ask, "May I walk you home?"
Be Balanced. Be Natural. Be You - Omved

Self love Written by Janet Arthur
The subject of self love is often brought up as a subject of discussion as part of healing or growing into individual happiness. I was watching Eckhart Tolle speak on this subject as a healer, speaker, author and all around wise person who millions of people listen to.
He began by mentioning about a dog or a cat never stopping to wonder if they love themselves. They are themselves living in the moment. He did mention about human beings , are the only living creatures who are able to think of the past , present and future which makes it easier for dogs and cats to live in the moment. He also mentioned a cat who had been able to jump over a particular fence until it got too old, so the cat stopped jumping the fence. The cat didn’t say“ I’m too old I can’t jump this fence.”He also mentioned if a cat is overweight it doesn’t say, “I’m too fat ,I’ll have to go on a diet.”the point he was trying to make is emphasised more by saying, “ You can grow from self.If we are enjoying ourselves or feeling happy we forget about yesterday or tomorrow we may even feel happy, appreciating who we are and having fun .Listening to this starting me thinking about the world we live in and how a lot of it is me , me,me, instead of we, we, we.When we live in the moment we are more aware of our place in the world we live in, we are more aware of who or what would benefit from our help in some small or large way.For example if a person is hungry and needs food but we may be limited on how much we can give, if we live in the moment and not worry about this we can give. You know why?
Because the angels and guides ,some of whom may be our ancestors, have all an interest in looking after us and whatever we give, we get back. We always have enough.
Why is self love so important to many? For lots of reasons. We all want to be happy and because we all think differently this might manifest in various ways. Mostly it adds to how we feel about ourselves and in general relate to others.
We all have and do go through challenges in our lives to grow our souls which, once we pass through these challenges also can make a positive difference to our lives.
If we don’t have what we want in our lives , it could stop us traveling our own journey, and take a completely different road. Don’t get me wrong , sometimes we have to travel down a very difficult path in order to get where we are going, it can be very lonely. When we lose a loved one or feel we have no one who understands what we are trying to achieve.
When we worry we can stop the flow of guidance from the world beyond. When we live in the moment we are completely immersed in the moment , no time to worry, only to enjoy or knowing if the moment is uncomfortable , that it will pass.
Being stuck , not having any interests outside our home can also lessen our happiness. It's important to grow through our challenges, because as part of my own beliefs what we create here, is what we are able to recognise through the veil , when we pass from this life. I understand what we receive over in spirit is so profoundly intense , filled with bliss. If we are frightened of love in its many forms here it may frighten us traveling to the other side. Love is something a lot of people are frightened of. By letting go and trusting is one way to encourage change.
We are all made from love and the intensity of our passing over experience , not the experience but the intensity of colors , music , feeling and more is something for us
all to look forward to when our time comes.

Winter
Written by Janet Arthur
I hope you are all keeping cradled in warmth and well fed during these winter months. With a few challenges facing people at this time, where if we were following Nature’s lead we would all be slowing down and hibernating. Or make use of this time to organise a few inside tasks.
It is difficult for some to become motivated and stay stimulated to stay on some tasks.
I do a lot of driving while picking up my grandson to and from school and doing so I listen to the radio. The other day I was listening to some words of wisdom I’d like to share with you. The part which I felt is worth repeating. “ Pick your hard. It is hard to be in debt, it is hard to stay out of debt. It is hard to be obese , it is hard to work at getting and keeping fit.”
By hearing these words I can see more than usual, we have choice even if the one best for us is difficult it is worth it. We choose which side of the coin or decisions we want. It has motivated me to exercise more to be more healthy.
Spirit is all around us trying to help us do the best we can for ourselves. Aren’t we lucky? Asking spirit for help may be difficult especially for those who spend their
Lives thinking and doing for others. It is our own responsibility to do the best for us. If you want to keep helping people, animals and spirit it is important to nurture ourselves and keep growing.
I’ve heard people say we are all born perfect, meaning for them we don’t need to change. We are all born perfect but we are also here to progress our soul, we wouldn’t be here otherwise.
I’ve seen some remarkable changes in the people I’ve had the pleasure to know and work with over the years. People are amazing.
Over the winter we sometimes have time to think about our own journey in life and what we have learnt.
I like to talk about my own learning because it may help someone else.
Before my Mum died I went to talk to her knowing I had to finish my contract with her. This is the learning we both agreed to do before we were born. I went to Mum and apologised to her for what went wrong in my part with our relationship and I also told her not to take it the wrong way but I forgave her. She agreed with the first part of this but not the second part. I needed to finish our contract so I didn’t have to enter into the same contract with her in the next life.
My brother died one year later and because I was charged with seeing to his wishes I did this within six months.
This was 18 months after Mum’s death. My older brother was in charge of looking after Mum’s wishes. My brother rang to say Mum’s ashes needed buried so I arranged to come on a Friday at 3pm from Oamaru to Dunedin, meet my brother, living in Dunedin and the funeral director to bury the ashes. We decided to put half in a box and half in the grave.
I arrive at 3pm and my brother rings says he can’t come because he is double booked.
I was a bit flabbergasted but thought ok. I buried the ashes and then proceeded to thank my mother for all that had happened between us all the challenges, the ones which affected me so much I went and had years of healing in different ways and the other experiences. I thanked her for everything and I felt genuine and peaceful. After I had finished I drove down the road to the beach, the area we grew up in. I parked . I opened the door and picked up the box with the other half of the ashes. As I was walking I could feel a beating heart in the box. I arrived at the edge of the sea and said, “ Mum I knew if you had been born a man you would have been a sailor and I don’t suppose you envisaged going into the sea like this. I know you will be with us wherever we go.” I threw the ashes into the sea and walked back to the car. When I climbed into the car I saw I had spilled some of Mum on and into my shoe. I said while I was laughing, “ You really will be with us everywhere we go.” I heard Mum laughing as well.
My husband and I were going to Australia and I said Mum is coming with us and she doesn’t have to pay. There will be an empty seat seemingly when we go and there was. .I’m so glad I went through what I did with Mum being able to forgive and let go made me realise Mum worked hard and helped us as much as she could.
I’m very grateful to have inherited her strength, her courage and her strong spirit.
I’d like to share a poem I wrote out of my self-published Poetry book.

Reflections Written by Janet Arthur

Driving down the road
Whooshing about my errands
The song, floating into my thoughts
Of missing you in my day
Blending my melodic soul
With your joy of dance
Loving the new babe in our family
Delighting in all
His Essence. down the line
You his link to countless yesterdays
Violent changes, shaky cities
In this wild world
Glad you are not here to
Worry through it all
Your suffering plenty, is done
I feel you cuddle my aura in my times of need
Breathing in awe-inspiring nature, side by side
Sharing our image in the mirror
Hearing you laugh while I giggle
Together joining dimensions

Crackup. Done

Please copy and paste this to your status for just one hour to show your loving support for those who are constantly being asked to copy and paste things to their statuses by people who copy and paste things to their statuses. I know many people won't copy and paste this, but my truly sarcastic friends will copy and paste it because it's in their nature to do such kind things because they truly have a heart. If you know someone, or have heard of someone who knows someone, you know what to do. If you don't know anyone, or even if you've heard of anyone who doesn't know anyone, then still copy this. It's important to spread the message even if no-one knows anything about anyone and it won't make any difference to anything whatsoever. If you don't copy and paste it, then this means you hate puppies. And if you hate puppies a unicorn dies. Possibly kittens as well. And occasionally baby goats.🤣

Humanity
Written by Janet Arthur

In the last week three different people have spoken to me about humanity and their fears or concerns about where humanity is heading. Like how we are treating Mother Earth and each other.
Not all humans. There is more violence, damage to the earth and in some circles, more concern about profit than the environment or each other.
The earth and human beings, because we live on it, are going through a huge transformation. There is a large drain on the resources because of the changes in the environment, floods, earthquakes, fires, wars, diseases, droughts in some places. The resources being affected are food, shelter, and people's lives in the way of safety. So there are a lot of humans who are worried about how they are going to survive.
It's a bit like being warned of an earthquake, for example, we want to be safe but where to go, what options do we have? Are we running out of options?
Many won’t understand that we chose to be born at this time to help humanity through this transition.
I see Human beings, all of us with the spark of life, joining us together. When we have different challenges, as a collective, having a hard time, people dying and other happenings. A wonderful thing happens, human beings pull together in a big way to help people moving through these challenges, because we are all connected to the spark of life within us. These types of challenges remind us who we are and why we are here. We are here to help and love in whatever way we can.
I love humanity for this. Of course we can see those actions in human beings we don’t like. We can also see the delightful aspects, like enjoying music, art, painting, and people creating beautiful gardens, humour, a love of animals and much more.
I tend to just look to today, not take on any concerns which are outside today, not to look at all those tomorrows, as we don’t know how things will turn out, but they do have a way of working out in a positive way.
Human beings have survived for a long time by adapting to the circumstances, to changes in circumstances. We all have the ability to create and Human Beings are wonderful at coming up with creative solutions that improve and protect our environment and our people.
When we look at others who are stuck, not wanting to look at how they can change, it’s not up to us to understand where they are on their journey. We see them now, not their whole journey, it’s not really our business to understand this. If they need help and we can then we do. Everyone makes their own choices, which if they affect us, we can communicate to any individual.
Every human being has the choice to move forward in their growth or not, therefore having the ability to affect our environment in a positive way.
If we think where we have come from, we understand we have grown, there has to be room to grow and during these hard times we can choose to grow. I still have the solid belief in the love of Humanity, growing towards love. Being grateful is the number one feeling I foster most days.
Spirit is a big part of humanity, who works through us, to grow from unconditional love.
They are helping many, many others here on Earth. People who are working quietly in the background to help Mother Earth. Remember the news is reported from negative information, people naturally gravitate to sensationalism. (Although this is changing).
We all need to add to our growth by helping in positive ways, which many do, but also believing in the ability of human beings to care through action. This way we will see things a bit differently. Seeing what is wonderful in our world, and working to preserve it by welcoming in the changes. They say we grow mainly through adversity.
Human beings mostly shine through helping others through adversity.

A sincere wish for everybody to find some happiness and or peace in the coming days .With love Janet❤
