Nina here......

I've just returned from an absolutely phenomenal week at Outward Bound New Zealand and I'm buzzing with stories! It was a week of incredible challenges and stunning beauty.

From navigating the Marlborough Sounds on an open sailboat (hello, sleeping under the stars!) to spotting Dolphins and Moon Jellyfish, and learning to guard my rations from cheeky Weka, every moment was a powerful reminder of nature’s wonder and my own resilience. The best part, by far, was connecting with some truly beautiful, soulful people.

This experience highlights how vital our connections are and how much we value moments of presence and connection. It’s a great reminder that life is about facing challenges and cherishing the journey.

We wanted to share these beautiful photos captured by Nina while visiting the Canterbury Memorial Gardens & Crematorium in Linwood, Christchurch. These gorgeous roses were out in full bloom, bringing a lovely burst of colour and fragrance to the grounds.

Nina spotted them when taking a loved one for cremation, and although Nina’s flower knowledge is not great, these looked and smelt BEAUTIFUL! It's often the small, beautiful details that stay with us during difficult times.

We are so grateful for the care and beauty maintained at the gardens.
