Our Story
Canterbury SCL is an IANZ accredited medical diagnostic laboratory. As part of the Canterbury District Health Board (CDHB) contract, we provide a range of pathology services for all GPs, public hospital clinics, private Specialists and Midwives for diagnostic testing of eligible patients. We also provide commercial services for non-funded requests. Our highly skilled team of Pathologists, Scientists, Technicians and support staff are committed to providing diagnostic excellence to the patients and clinicians in our region. Our Pathologists are also available to provide clinicians with expert advice and interpretation to assist in the patient's ongoing management and care. In addition to laboratory testing we provide extended services at the request of health practitioners. These include: Specimen Collection Services Courier Pickup Home Visits Fine Needle Aspirates (FNA) Continuing Professional Development Education
