Prior to Nrf2 Activation, I nearly always needed dental work !
But ever since I have been 'Activated' my oral health has been 'Tip Top' !

Often we can get overwhelmed by which products to use, but my rule of thumb is no matter what is wrong with you, always start with our Nrf2 Activator and build on that, because without healthy cells, you are fighting an uphill battle.

I liken our bodies to a house made of bricks and mortar, the bricks are our cells, and the mortar is all the other good stuff we do. Without healthy cells (the bricks), the mortar has nothing to hold together.

In 2011, BioGen, the manufacturers of the drug Tecfidera® did a study testing 4 different Nrf2 Activators. Guess which one performed the BEST ?????

A $50 million study was privately and independently funded by a pharmaceutical company, BioGen®, attempting to prove that their synthetic Nrf2 drug called Tecfidera® was more potent for the treatment of multiple sclerosis than an all natural Nrf2 activator called Protandim®...Guess which one was found to be more effective?

Results:

1. BG-12, tBHQ, SFN and protandim are well-tolerated and strongly induce Nrf2-driven antioxidant enzyme production in oligodendrocytes, with protandim showing the most potent induction.

2. Nrf2 activators are able to protect oligodendrocytes against ROS-induced cytotoxicity.

Interestingly, Protandim, a dietary supplement consisting of herbal ingredients, was the most potent inducer and therefore may be the most suited as a therapeutic strategy.
