❤️ The journey has been hard❤️
Today the tears ran
A message from one of our loved students that caught so much for us as a team right now and where many of our students have been and are :
“It hasn’t been a fun journey. Don’t worry if tears fall from my face. I can’t seem to stop them lately”
Not all journeys are fun.
But we will walk them. Not by choice.
But we will walk them with grace as life planted them for us.
When the tears fall from our face. It is sometimes our years falling from us, sometimes it is our release from our journey, sometimes they are just tears.
In the words of one of our fab students - my mat is my honesty- it guides me to my truth- even when I want to step off it.
Not all journeys are full of sunflowers,rainbows and joy. When they are - embrace them.
However, even when a journey is hard, is full of challenges, bluffs and my most fought against -limbo - (argh!!) they are still full of light and learning- it takes a bit more to seek it.
So why the deep & meaningful, some would say fluffy post…. Cos we see you.
We see how you come to the mat, we will meet you there with kindness & love.
It’s ok.
You are ok.
It’s ok that’s it’s not ok.
If you need a hand, we are here.
Today has been one constant of being with teachers as they see you and working the behind the scenes magic to make things happen for you 🪄🦄
