The Yogi Tribe

I created this business as a dream for me, firstly my two loves YOGA and Children = ME!!! Yoga has taught me so much about myself and the growth I have developed over the past few years has been incredible, the friends, the strength and everything I have learnt about myself which has helped me to realise what a competent, passionate and worthwhile woman I am and what I am truly capable of.

Having children always showing an interest in me doing “Yoghurt”, it became a day to day conversation which led to them wanting to experience too. They are constantly wanting to learn new exciting poses and move their bodies in creative ways, having talks about how our upstairs brain and body works and what it needs in order to function – ie; being able to calm ourselves when upset, angry, sad and doing it in a safe way. So we began incorporating arts and crafts where children can use these as tools to regulate themselves (ie. Eye pillows, breathing sticks, mindfulness jars.

Hi I’m Stacey and I have so much passion and a way with all aged children. With being an Early Childhood teacher for over 13 years I have a wealth of knowledge and experience of working with all ages especially the under 5’s. I build immediate connections with children, and make them feel safe, respected and happy which I then builds her classes around.

I try to teach yoga in such a fun way, through lots of encouragement and connection through games, movement, storytelling, and lots of exploring the 1000’s of yoga poses which all help increase flexibility, balance and self-worth/ confidence.
