Beltane Blessings 🔥

Some celebrate this sacred day on the traditional date of today October 31st and some on the exact date which this year is on Friday 7th November. My personal practice is to go with the exact date but I think of today as the portal opening and geez the energies are already big!!

Beltane is a Sabbat, 1 of 8 sacred days marked on the Wheel of the Year. It has ancient roots with celebrations held around the world, all with a similar theme focusing on the coming of Summer & the new energies this season brings with it.

Some don't follow the wheel of the year as they prefer to follow the cycles and nature here in the southern hemisphere. I love the Sabbats - it's like a magickal check in/realignment that kinda keeps me on track, I also feel the connection with my Ancestors who came over here from Scotland 6 generations ago.
Having said that, I do have a have a deep love for this beautiful country and I tune in daily to current energies - so I blend the wheel of the year (based on NH traditions and timing) with what's actually happening where I live.

The moral of this is - go with what feels right for you, your practice is your own 🙏

⚖️ Energy levels:: Tangaroa - A productive change has come. A surge of high energy for all, gifted is physical stamina to get jobs done!!!

Tonight our focus is within ourselves. we focus on our inner sacred mauri our wairua. We create a tau sensation and utilise only our mental strengths.

It is our time to acknowledge we are physical and spiritual beings experiencing life and that our environment rests from sunset to sunrise, it is a time to rejuvenate our physical body and utilise our spiritual senses. To prepare for yet another Moon Cycle ahead.

The Great Lady of the night, gifts us a korowai of protection. As Hina Marama resides within te Pō and tatau o te pō is actively aligned to te Ao Marama.

This evening the well-being and Mauri of ira tangata - humankind is guarded by Hinenuitepō.

Physical healing for this Maramataka is complete.
Until the rise of the Crescent Moon we shouldn’t look at aligning in any physical bodywork…(Mirimiri, Romiromi, Deep Tissue Therapies.)

All divination work is best done in the light of day. The nights are yours to reflect within. Dreamtime is about connections to those passed on.
