Phew that’s a list! I’m all about small habits that all add up over time. Everyone’s list will be different.
A regulated nervous system that has adaptability and resilience is so important for our overall health and happiness! It’s not always about being calm, it’s about developing appropriate responses depending on what is going on. Having the capacity to respond to life’s challenges.
Regulation is always bio directional - this means it happens based on the input from the brain to the body AND the body to the brain
It’s not just the physical things (how we eat, move) , it’s also dictated on how we talk to ourselves, our mindset and the beliefs we hold - that all impacts our nervous system state.
