So I didn't post last night. Yesterday started off ok for food but I left my dinner in the car and then ended up going a long time between breaks so got kinda hangry (yes I mean hangry) and ended up having maccas. Today I was driving up to Nelson and found that anywhere I stopped for food it was all pies and chips etc. Could have been more organised tho and packed lunch. Right now I'm sitting on kaiteritwri beach thinking about the half marathon tomorrow . Looking forward to going out and smashing it and getting back I to running.

Day 3. Dear Diary!going thru a subway phase at the moment! So had subway for lunch. Didn't end up having a shake for breaky which was bad. Didn't feel as hungry as I normally do so didn't eat a lot for the rest of the day which is also bad but did have a muffin. Tomorrow's goal is to get up and have a shake for breaky. Have a good proper lunch. Have dinner break at 3 so have something light them and something g after dinner. Plus drink more water. Bad thing was I had v today as well!

So day 2 done. Had a shake again for breakfast. Last 2 days I have had a 6yr old to look after so I have a good hour in the morning to have breakfast while she gets dressed! Lunch was a curry so not stop good but could be worse. Dinner was sushi with a muffin for after. Still room to improve. Bring on tomorrow!

So how did today go? Well started off well with a shake and toast. Morning went well but ended up busy at work and I pushed my break out too long and ended up super hungry and had some not so good food. Dinner could have been better but was too tired to cook. Or that's the excuse I used. Lesson: plan ahead of time and make sure I have something for that afternoon pick up. Working 2pm til 11pm the next few nights so plan on doing better tomorrow.

So this year is all about half marathons for me. A few years ago a group of us set a goal of running the Las Vagas Half Marathon. It didn't quite work out but we refocused and in November we will be flying off to Las Vagas to tick it off the bucket list. Now I have a few half planned out for the year but I figured there is no point doing things by halve so in the interests of scaring the crap out of me and making me type this message a but longer so I have time to think about what I am about to say... here is official confirmation that Las Vagas will be my first full marathon!

So I have been a bit slack lately. But in the past few weeks 2 things have happened that have gotten me back on focus. The first is a message from an old school friend who said she had seen my posts and decided if I can do it so can she and no has some awesome results. The lesson is sometimes doing it for others is not such a bad thing. Your good can influence others. The second is talking to a mate who said that my Facebook posts had gone quiet. If it's not on Facebook it's not happening right. So for the rest of March I am committing to posting once a day on how my day went. Good or bad. Better to be honest right.

So have been a bit slack with my eating the last few days and really feeling it. It makes perfect sense but I never realised how much what you eat affects your mood and energy levels. But it has all changed today. Kicked my A into G and made myself do 6am fitclub even tho I thought I would rather sleep. But man how good do I feel. Started the day with the amazing fat burning herbal tea. Smashed out the hundreds club and acme oh so close to completion it. But dont worry am going back tomorrow and nothing will stop me from completing it. And then had a great mint choc shake to aid recovery. Feelong way better and it's all from 80% nutrition 20% exercise and 100% mindset!
