🏃‍♀️ Running Efficiency Starts with Fascia

Did you know that your fascia, the connective tissue wrapping every muscle and joint, plays a huge role in your running efficiency?

When fascia becomes restricted, it disrupts your body’s natural movement patterns. This can lead to:
🔹 Limited range of motion
🔹 Inefficient energy transfer
🔹 Poor muscle coordination
🔹 Increased strain on joints and tissues

Over time, these restrictions can cause recurring niggles and injuries or that frustrating feeling of “stiff running” even when you’re training hard and stretching regularly.

The LYNO Method, helps identify and release fascial restrictions throughout the body. By restoring full-body movement and alignment, you can improve your running efficiency, reduce injury risk, and move with greater ease and control.

✨ Free your fascia. Optimise your movement. ✨

Tight QL? It might be more than just a muscle issue.

When your Quadratus Lumborum (QL) is stiff or limited, it’s rarely working alone, it’s often part of a bigger pattern of fascia restriction in your body.

Why does this happen? Your survival brain can tighten fascia to protect you from:

Poor posture over time

Old injuries

Emotional trauma from the past

Current stress

Here’s the tricky part ... if you just try to stretch it, you can end up in a tug-of-war between your logical brain (wanting to move) and your survival brain (wanting to protect). Push too hard, and your body will simply find new ways to brace and compensate.

✅ The better approach?
See a Lyno Practitioner who will assess your whole body and identify the patterns of bracing.
By working with the autonomic nervous system, we can release these restrictions, restore movement, and reduce compensation.

Your body isn’t just tight, it’s protecting you. Let’s work with it, not against it. 💚

👣 Did you know your feet could be the reason behind your knee, hip, or back pain?
We often ignore them but your feet are the foundation of every step, squat, run, and jump!

💥 Limited foot mobility, especially in the ankle and toes, can throw off your whole movement chain leading to injury and chronic pain.

In our latest blog, we break down:
🔹 Why dorsiflexion, inversion & eversion matter
🔹 How poor foot mobility causes compensation up the body
🔹 Common injuries linked to stiff feet
🔹 And what you can do about it!

🦶 It’s time to show your feet some love.
