SHARE TO CARE Power in Connection

Clothed in Love may have started with an idea, then added a friend, however, it has been through the power of connection that we have grown as a community over four years to where we are now. Knowing the vision could never be achieved by just two mums, we utilised the power of social media for good. From there it has been the importance of online and ‘word of mouth’ that has built our teams and our reach to where it is now.

We also know there is so much further to go. There are still regular comments from those who encounter us saying ‘oh I had no idea you existed’. This is from those keen to donate and from those who are gratefully receiving packs. We love that this power of connection has made what we have done possible. We are so keen to see where we can go now!!!

That is where our community comes in. Your simple share of a post on your own page or a community you are in, can make a huge difference. Your conversation at school or preschool pick up may impact a family knowing they can get support if they need it. Chatting to the checkout operator might help them realise they can donate their children’s outgrown clothing to a family who needs some support.

Our lives are not lived in isolation. Sharing what is happening in our worlds with others can make amazing things happen. Sharing the care that we aim to provide through Clothed in Love ensures we can bless every child who needs clothing with a pack and remind every family they are not walking a challenging situation alone. What power there is in this. Together, we can make a difference. Please continue to share to care. 💜

Annie was tired. We have all been there, but for this 71-year-old when her grandson asked her to play she knew she needed to find something.

Annie's tiredness wasn't due to sleep, although that was affected, it was due to uncomfortably in her joints. Something many grandparents can relate to.

It was a recommendation from a friend that made all the difference though.

"It's made here, completely natural. Just give it a go," her friend told her. And that is when things took a turn for the better in Annie's life
