We’ll be open throughout the Christmas/New Year period (closed on public holidays), with some of our chiropractors taking well-deserved mini breaks during this time.

Matt had been waiting for this one 🐴

A few months back, Christchurch Riding for the Disabled won our community programme — and this week, Matt finally got to visit in person!

He spent time observing one of their sessions, learning more about how they support riders of all abilities, and even met one of the horses — Tiger — up close and personal. 🐎

DR MANISHA ON SURGICAL LEAVE

Manisha is finally getting her knee repaired so she can get back to doing the things she loves.

Her last day in practice will be Thursday 25th September.

We expect her to return to practice mid November (all going well). At your next visit, Manisha will discuss which chiropractor will best look after you while she’s recovering.

Connecting Brains To Bodies, Connecting Communities

Founded by Matt and Alex Wild, Connect Chiropractic all started in November 2018, a month after the birth of their first born, Sunniva.

We wanted to do something different, something bigger than just another chiropractic practice. We wanted to be able to serve absolutely everyone, we wanted to immerse ourselves in the Christchurch community, and we wanted to support vital organisations striving towards equity for all.

The core to achieving this all was the financial accessibility of Chiropractic Care. Too many times had we come across the challenge of individuals and families wanting care but purely due to financial reasons were either unable to afford the care full stop, or not the best amount of care for optimal outcomes. We hated that, these numerous instances kept us up at night, in truth we thought it was bu****it. Something needs to be different.

So when we came to starting connect we opted for a ‘Koha’ or ‘Pay-as-you can’ Fee system. Where after your first two more time-intensive visits, you simply pay what you choose or what you can afford each time you come in for your recommended chiropractic appointment. Doing this required us to trust that people would value our service. That those that could pay a fair fee would and those that had to pay less really needed to.
