Happy World Physiotherapy Day!

This year the theme for the day is chronic pain, a significant burden on global health with low back pain causing more disability than any other condition.

Canterbury has also been been facing increased mental health challenges since the earthquakes.

Movement helps with our overall health, and this year the physiotherapy department at Christchurch Hospital and Womens’ campus took some time out with a session with Hamish from Apollo Power Yoga to revitalise our energy for the work we do. This was followed by a healthy lunch together.
