You will bring your professional caring attitude, skills and knowledge as well as a desire to work in a supportive team environment that focuses on having you fully interacting with residents and their families.

In addition, you will provide nursing and personal care, guidance or direction to other care staff, clinical assistance to hospital and rest home residents as required, contributing to our collaborative team culture all whilst maintaining competence and professional development, consistent with NCNZ PDRP requirements.

We have permanent full time or part time positions available. All positions will include morning, afternoon, night and weekend shifts.

We had some very special visitors from Willows Early Learning Centre last week. The tamariki had a morning tea, shared stories with our residents and sang some beautiful songs. Most fun of all was playing a game with balloons and pool noodles.

There were many beautiful smiles on resident and tamariki faces :)

RE: Kaihautū – General Manager Announcement on behalf of Trish Bulling

It is my pleasure to announce that we have appointed Donna Goddard as our new Kaihautū – General Manager. This role has the operational aspects of the Ripponburn Home & Hospital’s Care Manager as well as General Manager overall for all facilities: Golden View Village and Apartments, Golden View Care, Ripponburn Lifestyle Village and Home and Hospital.

Donna will be starting her role on the 8th of May 2023. Donna currently works with her husband running a consultancy business which provides Business and Management consulting. She lives in Tarras and is heavily involved in the local community.

Donna has over 20 years of management and general management experience over several industries. She has managed teams all over the world in multiple roles, both technical and business related.
Donna has been involved in Aged Care in Australia and is looking forward to bringing that knowledge to her role here in Cromwell.
