At Cromwell Osteopathy we provide quality hands on treatment to help you recover from injuries, feel restored and obtain optimal health and wellbeing. Our aim and passion is to have you functioning at your best. We don’t just treat symptoms - instead we try and find the real cause of your pain so that you have a good chance of feeling better. Cromwell Osteopathy welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds. We can treat the elderly, adults, pregnant women, children and sports injuries. We have a new osteopath! The lovely Alex Searle will be joining us, and working on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Alex has moved back to Cromwell with her husband Jamie, and looks forward to helping the community with their aches and pains.

We have moved! Well a while ago now, but here are some before and after snaps of our new clinic space. Almost finished! Lots of hard work and effort from local tradies, friends and of course my husband. So grateful. Thank you 🙏

We are located at 30, The Mall. Next to Mead Stark Accounting and the Caci clinic.

We are now also home to a very experienced massage therapist Yin Ang Massage Therapy and Hand Physiotherapy from the Studio in QNT.

Introducing Helene Legeay - a degree qualified massage therapist and pilates instructor!

While I am away to Australia for the month of May, my friend Helene will be available to see Cromwell Osteopath patients. You can reach her via our email, website and phone number: 021 484 564.

Helene Legeay obtained a Bachelor of therapeutic and sports massage from the Southern Institute of Technology.

Helene grew up in France, and was a professional ballet dancer and archer. With an interest in body movement, structure and anatomy Helene decided to pursue massage therapy. In 2018 Helene and her husband moved to New Zealand, and now call Central Otago home.

Helene's extensive studies and experience, allow her to assess the body and treat a variety of conditions. Helene can provide sports, therapeutic, neuromuscular and pregnancy massage. Helene is also a trained medic and enjoys working with athletes, helping to maintain their careers and prevent injury.

Helene feels it is a privilege to help her patients by alleviating pain, dysfunction and discomfort.

CLINIC UPDATE - a baby on the way and a new osteopath joining the team!

My husband (Tom) and I, are expecting our first child at the end of July – exciting and somewhat daunting!

I will continue to work until approximately mid June and then take maternity leave, returning to work in April 2023.

I have searched the whole world (literally) for an osteopath to replace me during my time away, it’s important to me that all patients can access treatment and don’t delay seeking help when injured or in pain. Many candidates applied for the position, and I sifted through with the aim to find an osteopath who is compassionate and treats in a similar way to me. Rhys Whitehouse, ticked all the boxes and will join Cromwell Osteopathy in mid June! I will let him introduce himself…

New Osteopath – Rhys Whitehouse (M.Ost, B.Sc.)

Firstly I would like to say how excited I am to enter into the Cromwell community and meet all of you over the coming months.

I am a British trained Osteopath having graduated from the European School of Osteopathy. I work in a very similar style to Nicole and believe rehabilitation is an important part of the recovery process, as is hands on treatment coupled with patient education.

I will always be trying my up most to provide you with appropriate information regarding any injury you have, as well as talk through potential treatment options so that together we can put together the best recovery plan for you personally.

As well as an osteopath I am also a qualified mountaineer and rock climbing instructor. Both of these are my passion (having climbed for almost half my life now) as well as being outdoors. These passions are also a strong driving force behind moving to Cromwell, with New Zealand being world renowned for its stunning and rugged landscapes as well as the abundance of adventurous activities available on the doorstep.

Nicole has also asked me to attach a couple of photos for you. The 1st is how you are more likely to find me in the clinic day to day, the 2nd is me getting ready to head out with a dog team in the Arctic this week.

As I said before, I am delighted to meet you all and properly make your acquaintance very soon. Until then, I hope you all have a lovely few weeks.
