After five years working alongside thousands of whānau, we can tell you straight—no parent wants the government to feed their kids for them—they want to be able to do it themselves

Whānau want to do what every other parent does—go to the shop, buy food for their tamariki, and unpack the groceries at home. That shouldn't be a luxury—that’s what should be normal.

And here’s the thing—when a flower doesn’t bloom, we don’t blame the flower. We check the soil.

We’re not economists, but if whānau can’t afford school lunches, maybe instead of just handing out sandwiches, it’s time to fix the soil. 🌱
