NEW MOON in SCORPIO 🌙🕯️ This new moon is getting to the deep places of the soul. Teaching us to go deeper, be braver and to set new intentions of a newer, lighter reality ahead. Perhaps even a complete new beginning in a certain area of your life.

Ritual 💫 Take time to journal ~ ask yourself what is my soul trying to communicate with me under this new moon? What do I need to release in order to become more lighter and freer in all areas or one particular area of my life? Set intentions on how you might start making these possible ~ Whether it’s healing work, communicating your feelings, looking after your body in a deeper more nourishing way through food and restoration and noticing how things affect the soul of your body at the deepest level. Light a candle and do a deep meditation or relaxation to embrace this deep powerful Scorpion energy 🙏🏻

Organic garlic chicken stock 🌿🧄 always a goodie to have in the fridge.

Ingredients ~

Dash of olive oil
1 x Bostock chicken carcass or frames
8x peeled garlic cloves
1 x diced red or white onion
4 litres of water
Herbs from the garden I used rosemary, thyme and oregano 🌿

Heat olive oil in large pot, stir in onion and garlic and cook for a few mins to bring out the flavour & smell. Add herbs and cook for one additional minute, add carcass and water and place lid on top, simmer on low heat for 6- 8 hours, checking regularly, adding water if needed occasionally.

When finished cooking pour broth mixture into colander separating the ingredients to the broth. Place broth in glass containers and keep in the fridge.

Use to drink a cup a day or add to any cooking, curries, stews, soups, grains etc 🙏🏻

Mercury is in retrograde ~ the planet of communication, intellect, thinking patterns and daily life 💫Starting from the 9th Nov ~ 29th Nov. This is a good time to slow down, take things one step at a time and be more present and quieter in your everyday life.
Mercury will be retrograding through the sign of Sagittarius and Scorpio. So depending where these fall in your chart, this is the area of life where you should be extra aware of. A retrograde is a good time to organise, declutter, finish unfinished projects, be aware of technology and travels delays and making big decisions. Salmon ~ Avocado Caesar Salad with Jalapeño-Coriander Dressing / Gluten & Dairy free

Ingredients ~

Salad

• 1 large salmon fillet

• 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed ends

• 1 head cos lettuce, chopped

• ½ ripe avocado, sliced

• 1 cup cherry tomatoes, quartered

• 3 eggs (2 poached, 1 for dressing)

• Olive oil

• Salt & pepper

• herbs to garnish ( I used chives and parsley ( any herbs work )

Garlic Croutons (Gluten-Free):

• 2 slices gluten-free bread, cubed

• 1 clove garlic, finely minced

• 1 drizzle olive oil

• Pinch of salt

Jalapeño-Herb Caesar Dressing:

• 1 egg yolk

• 2 cloves garlic

• 1 tsp Dijon mustard

• 1 tbsp capers

• 1 tbsp chopped jalapeños

• Juice of ½ lemon

• ½ cup olive oil

• Small handful of fresh coriander, basil, or parsley

• Salt & pepper to taste
