This week in the movement club we’re diving into the Niyamas: Five personal practices that help us keep balance in the hustle of life.

1️⃣ Shaucha – Cleanliness. Keep your space, your thoughts, and your habits clear.

2️⃣Santosha – Contentment. Find peace in where you are, even if it’s not where you thought you’d be.

3️⃣Tapas – Discipline. Show up, even when it feels hard. The effort is the magic.

4️⃣Svadhyaya – Self-study. Take time to reflect and learn more about yourself

5️⃣Ishvara Pranidhana – Surrender. Let go and trust that the universe has your back.

It’s the small moments: choosing gratitude in the chaos, pushing through when you don’t feel like it, and making time for reflection in the middle of a busy day.

This week’s Movement Club theme is the Yamas, five simple ideas that make life run a bit smoother:
be kind (Ahimsa), tell the truth (Satya), take only what you need (Asteya), know when to stop (Brahmacharya), and let go of what’s already done (Aparigraha).

They’re small things: how you speak when you’re tired, how you react when someone pushes your buttons, how you treat yourself when things don’t go right.

It’s noticing when you’re about to snap and taking a breath first.
It’s saying no when you’re stretched too thin.
It’s choosing to walk away from the stuff that keeps pulling you off track.

The Yamas aren’t about being perfect.
They’re about creating less drama and more space to breathe in the middle of everyday life.
