Have you ever made cauliflower/broccoli/sweet potato rice? So yummy! Just blitz a broccoli, 1/2 cauliflower and a sweet potato in the food processor. SautΓ© onion and garlic in coconut or olive oil and add the blitzed veggies for about 10minutes add some πŸ§‚ pepper and nutmeg, I also added a bit of πŸ‹ et voila, really tasty, very colourful and nutritious 😁

Have you ever tried to make zoodles? Noodles from zucchini/courgette instead of pasta? I use my spiralizer a lot. It takes 2 minutes to make the zoodles and then I just fry them with garlic, salt and pepper in a bit of coconut oil. Oh my goodness so yummy and a great β€œcarrier” for any sauce you would normally put on pasta 🍝

Being in a rest and digest or parasympathetic mode is so important for our digestive system to work properly.
So here are a few tips:
* Sit down when eating πŸͺ‘ ( and no not in the car πŸš— or behind your computer πŸ‘©β€πŸ’»)
* Smell your food πŸ‘ƒ
* Take a few deep breaths πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ
* Eat small bites and chew thoroughly
* Put your fork down between bites
* Be present when you eat and enjoy your food πŸ₯˜

Acid is in the stomach because it is supposed to be there. Stomach acid promotes the digestion and absorption of many nutrients such as protein, minerals as well as vitamin B12 and folate. Low stomach acid can lead to numerous problems. If you are interested is this topic I suggest reading the book β€œ Why stomach acid is good for you” by J. Wright and L. Lenard.
