🌼 Updated studio offerings for the start of 2026 🌼

A big warm welcome to Leanne and Catalina.

Leanne will be holding women’s movement sessions on Thursday evenings for an 8-week block starting 12th February.

Catalina .studio will be offering “Midday Reset” a slow flow, restorative and meditation class on Wednesdays for a 6-week block beginning 18th February.

A reminder that is holding her Thursday morning “Rise - group fitness” sessions at Saint Clair playground over the summer.

If your mornings are rushed and you are mentally fried by the afternoon, this class might just be what you need! An invitation to reset the body and mind.

This will be a short nourishing practice with slow dynamic movements, pockets of stillness and finishing with a meditation to help you combat the afternoon slump.

Classes typically run over the school terms, and are starting back late Jan/Feb this year. We are located at 'The Movement Space' off Vogel St. Please remember it's is a small space so places will be limited - sign up for the term if possible to guarantee you spot by emailing /messaging us.

Monday Pregnancy Yoga- 26th Jan - 30th March (10 weeks)
Sunday Pregnancy Yoga - 1st Feb - 19th April (9 weeks exluding Waitangi weekend, Otago Aniversary Weekend, Easter) TBC

Yin Yoga is a practice where you mindfully target deep connective tissues and cultivate body awareness through long-held shapes and somatic explorations.

Beginner friendly yin yoga.

Upstairs at 88 Vogel Street, Dunedin.

All yoga props & mats provided, feel free to BYO mat if you prefer. Wear comfy, cosy clothes that you can move in.

Spaces have opened up in the Mothers Yoga Collective Monday evening Pregnancy Yoga class - there are a few classes remaining in this end of year block.

These classes are beginner friendly and are held on Monday evenings from 5:30 pm - 6:45 pm.

Suitable for all stages of pregnancy from 14 weeks.

Facilitated by Niki and KJ of Mothers Yoga Collective.

💕 New workshop this week: Thursday 4th December. 1:30-2:45pm .movement.space.nz

💫 Pre-conception: building pre-pregnancy pelvic floor awareness.

🌸 Facilitating this workshop is Suzy Fox of HearthBorn Birth Support.

✨ Suzy has experience working as a personal trainer for women with pelvic floor instability, she teaches yoga for the pelvic floor, and is a birth doula.

🌟 Respectful and practical pelvic floor education.

🌷 Connect with your pelvic bowl, identify your strengths and weaknesses, learn techniques to stay strong for life, and create a relationship with your most sacred space!

⭐️ This workshop is for women of any age who would like to connect or reconnect with their pelvic bowl. It is ideal for women who know they may become pregnant someday and would like to feel physically prepared to hold that responsibility.

💕 We will discuss:
Anatomy of the core
Breathing for core stability
Find your normal and neutral
Postural cues for healthy pf activation
Simple methods to check your muscular tone and balance
Establish neural pathways to feel what is happening inside you
… all approached with reverence of our incredible bodies!

💫 Healthy pelvic floor connection and control can contribute to increased confidence, better or**sm, being continent (not peeing/pooing yourself), and better birth and postpartum experiences.

🌸 The workshop will be a combination of sitting and light movement, so please wear clothes you are able to move in. You may also want to bring a pad for taking notes, as handouts will not be provided.
