Aotearoa New Zealand is at a very high risk of a measles outbreak. Measles cases are rising worldwide, increasing the risk of an infected person bringing measles into the country.
If you are feeling unwell, please stay home and either contact Healthline or your healthcare provider if you have any symptoms of measles.
Measles symptoms include a fever, cough, runny nose, sore and watery pink eyes and then a rash.
If you suspect you may have measles please phone your healthcare provider and we will discuss some precautions we need to take when you arrive.
