Both our Pharmacists are locally trained from the University of Otago and have a passion for serving our community. Hayley has ten years work experience and Shweta has had 6 years work experience as a registered Pharmacist. Both are mums to young kids and have always had a passion for opening a family friendly pharmacy. We aim to provide the greater Green Island community with personalized and excellent service from the moment we open. We are also very excited to be bringing to you a fabulous range of affordable and boutique gift items that are stocked exclusively in our Pharmacy, We are opening very soon and can hardly wait to meet you!

To our valued customers and community,

After 9 wonderful years serving our beautiful greater Green Island community, it's time for us to say goodbye.

Green Island Boutique Pharmacy will close permanently at midday on Friday, 28th November 2025.

This decision has not been easy, but with the current funding challenges facing small independent pharmacies, it has become increasingly difficult to remain sustainable while providing the level of care we have always strived for.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to every patient, family and supporter who has been a part of our pharmacy family over the years. It has been an absolute privilege to care for you, share your milestones and your everyday life.

All repeats due before closure will be dispensed as usual . Repeats due after 28th of November will be securely transferred to Larson's Pharmacy to ensure continuity of care as per Medicines Control requirements.

As for what's next, we will be taking some time to rest over summer , spend time with our families, and explore new directions in pharmacy and beyond.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your loyalty, kindness and support. You have all made these nine years truly special, and we will always have a special place in our hearts for this community.
